1. Exhibitors may enter one item in each department class, limit of three(3) in each division.
2. Entries will be accepted in the Miscellaneous class only if there is not a class listed for that item.
3. An entry form must be completely filled out for all entries.
4. Entries are limited to Sevier County residents. Non-residents may enter items as display only.
5. Articles may be entered only by the owner and must be produced or prepared within the current fair year, items that have not been used or worn, or exhibited at a previous county fair may be entered.
6. Models purchased in kits will be accepted for display only.
7. No unfinished work will be accepted for entry.
8. Original designs should be so labeled.
9. If an exhibit consists of a set, it will be judged as one exhibit.
10. Exhibits by handicapped individuals will be given special consideration if so labeled.
11. Home Arts reserves the right to approve or reject entries in the best interest and standards of the Fair.
12. Sevier County Fair Board will not be responsible for any loss or injury to any animal or article. All reasonable means will be taken however, to prevent losses or injury.
13. Exhibits will be judged and ribbons awarded in accordance with the Danish system.
14. Cash premiums of $3.00 (Blue Ribbon) and $2.00 (Red Ribbon) will be awarded. Sweepstakes Ribbons will be awarded $5.00 plus Blue Ribbon premium, for a total of $8.00. Reserved Ribbons and Theme Winner Ribbons will be awarded $5.00, and will forfeit the Blue Ribbon. Premium money will be available Friday, & Saturday during the Fair, and on Monday during pickup hours.
15. All prizes will be handed out on Monday during pick up hours.
16. Exhibit pick up times will be Saturday, August 9, between 5 and 7 p.m. and on Monday, August 11th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Exhibits will not be released until this time, if you are unable to leave them until this time, PLEASE DO NOT BRING EXHIBITS.
17. All items not claimed will become the property of the Sevier County Fair Board.

1. Products exhibited must have been prepared since August 4, 2007 in the home by the person entering them.
3. One pint or one quart jar constitutes an exhibit of fruits, juices, vegetables, meats, soups, pickles, relished, or sauces. One pint or half pint jar constitutes an exhibit of jams or jellies. One jar of dehydrated food constitutes an entry. Standard canning jars must be used for all entries. (No mayonnaise jars) Jars and lids should be clean and properly sealed. Each jar should be labeled with date canned and name of contents.

4-H DEPARTMENT

1. Exhibitors must be enrolled in 4-H by submitting an enrollment sheet to the county 4-H office by August 4, 2008. They must be enrolled in the project in which the exhibit is entered.
2. 4-H members must have been in the 3rd grade through the 12th grade on Jan. 1 of the current year.
3. Exhibits must have been completed in the current 4-H year (since Oct. 2007) and should be age appropriate.
4. 4-H members will be allowed an unlimited number of total entries and may enter more than one exhibit per class, but no more than one exhibit per lot within the class.
5. Cloverbud members are those in the 2nd grade and younger who are enrolled in the 4-H program. They are limited to three entries. Cloverbud exhibits will not be judged.
6. 4-H exhibits (except horticulture, rabbits, and poultry) may be entered on Monday, August 4, from 10 am to 6 pm at the fairgrounds 4-H building.
7. Horticulture entries may be entered on Tuesday, August 5, from 7:30 to 11 am. Poultry and rabbits may be entered on Wednesday, August 6 from 7:30 to 11 am.
8. Each 4-H exhibitor must fill out a 4-H exhibit card for each exhibit and complete one entry form on which all of that individual’s exhibits are listed.
9. 4-H exhibits will be judged and ribbons awarded according to the Danish system. Top exhibits in each class qualify for the Utah State Fair.
10. Cash premiums will be awarded: $3 for blue ribbon, $2 for red ribbon, and $1 for Cloverbud participation.
11. 4-H exhibits will be judged on Tuesday, August 5. The 4-H building will be closed to the public during judging.
12. Building will be open for public viewing of 4-H exhibits on Wednesday, August 6, from 12:00 noon until 7 pm, Thursday, August 7 and Friday, August 8 from 9 am until 7 pm, and Saturday, August 9 from 11 am until 7 pm.
13. 4-H exhibits must be picked up at the 4-H building on Saturday, August 9, from 5-7 pm, or on Monday, August 11, from 10 am to 2 pm. Exhibits not picked up by Monday at 2 pm will be discarded unless other arrangements have been made.
14. Premium money may be picked up at the 4-H building on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday afternoons and on Monday, August 11 from 10 am to 2 pm.
