"Welcome to Sevier County, 'The Center of it All.' We are excited to offer you, our County
Fair “Rock Around the Stock”. Our Fair has been honored with several awards over the past
few years and we are sure what we have to offer this year will prove to be another
cherished memory to all who attend.
"The county fair is a great tradition where people are
able to show off their talents what ever they may be from the young man or woman who
raises and grooms their special animal to the homemaker who cans fruit or stitches a quilt,
from the produce of the family garden to the impressions of a local artist, we have it all.
"We invite everyone to come out and enjoy all the wonderful activities at our beautiful fair
grounds. We are sure we have some activity that will excite each of our fair visitors, from
bucking broncos to great music, we truly are 'the Center of it All.'
"We congratulate the Fair Board and director Paula Martin for offering a truly excellent fair.
"We also express special appreciation to Yvonne Buchanan for all her work behind the scenes
to see that all the facilities keep operating in a safe and efficient way.
"As County Commissioners we extend a special invitation to our annual Commissioners
Barbeque (no, sorry, we won’t be barbequing a commissioner; just hamburgers
and hot dogs) on Wednesday, August, 10.
"Some counties may have fair County Fairs, as you will see ours is an
exceptional County Fair! We are looking forward to seeing you 'Rock Around the Stock' with
us at the Sevier County Fair!"
